Apply for Teacher Training
All CTA courses are now live and open for applications.
These are now listed on the Government websites ‘Find’ (https://www.gov.uk/find-postgraduate-teacher-training-courses ) and
‘Apply’ (https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-teacher-training ) and can no longer found by searching for ‘Catholic Teaching Alliance’.
The Catholic Teaching Alliance is a school-based delivery partner of the University of Cumbria. All our courses are now listed as University of Cumbria courses, each with a different course code.
Course titles display as follows in ‘Find’ and ‘Apply’:
University of Cumbria SUBJECT (COURSE CODE) Eg. Drama
University of Cumbria Drama (V261) is the CTA Secondary (11-16yrs)
University of Cumbria Drama (P842) is the CTA Secondary with a post 16 strand (14-19yrs)
In ‘Find’
- Search ‘By University or other training provider’ by entering University of Cumbria (or their provider code, C99)
- Select Age Group, Primary or Secondary (NB, post 16 courses are under secondary)
- Answer questions which follow to narrow the search – selecting subject etc.
- Search results will be a list of all University of Cumbria courses in that subject, all with different course codes
- CTA courses can be found by their unique course code, e.g. University of Cumbria Primary (M871) is the CTA primary 5-11 course.
