Attendance Matters

Promoting the importance of good attendance continues to be a key focus at St Bede’s. Good attendance and punctuality are not only a legal requirement but essential in order for pupils to get the most out of their experience at St Bede’s. This includes their academic progress, wellbeing and wider life chances.

This term, we have the ‘Ber months’ attendance challenge. Pupils with excellent attendance will receive additional reward points each month. If they maintain this throughout October to December, they will be entered into the ‘Wheel of Names’ for a chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher.

Please can we take this opportunity to remind families that holidays during term time will not be authorised and may incur a penalty notice.
